Wildwood’s Fabulous ’50s & Beyond Weekend

Wildwoods Convention Center
Friday night features a ’50s Dance Party with the Cameos at the Wildwoods Convention Center. Tickets are $16 plus tax per person. A street fair will take place on Saturday from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm featuring classic cars, food and craft vendors, a Doo Wop Bus Tour, and live entertainment. Saturday night’s concert in the Wildwoods Convention Center begins at 7:00 pm (doors open at 5:30 pm) featuring music from the 1950’s with Little Anthony & The Imperials, the 1960’s with Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone, and the 1970’s with The Spinners and The Mahoney Brothers performing as Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison and Jerry Lee Lewis. Tickets go on sale at the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce (3306 Pacific Avenue) on June 14. Additional ticket sales will be at the Wildwoods Convention Center Box Office, through Ticketmaster.com or any other Ticketmaster locations.
Lighthouse Challenge of New Jersey

The Lighthouse Challenge of New Jersey is a two-day event held every year on the third weekend in October to encourage participants to visit participating lighthouses, life-saving stations and museums throughout the state. Commemorative T-shirts and mementos are offered for purchase to participants each year. Each participating site determines its hours and participation level. Each site Is free to charge an entry fee.
