The 4th Annual Crest Best Run Fest resented by Inspira Health is a world class running event almost entirely in the Borough of Wildwood Crest on Columbus Day Weekend. This event features five races over two days for runners seeking the ultimate experience.

Week of October 15 – 21, 2021

Wildwood’s Fabulous ’50s & Beyond Weekend
Friday, October 15, 2021 6:30 – 10:30 pm, Saturday October 16, 2021 11:00 am – 11:00 pm
Wildwoods Convention Center

Friday night features a ’50s Dance Party with the Cameos at the Wildwoods Convention Center. Tickets are $16 plus tax per person. A street fair will take place on Saturday from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm featuring classic cars, food and craft vendors, a Doo Wop Bus Tour, and live entertainment. Saturday night’s concert in the Wildwoods Convention Center begins at 7:00 pm (doors open at 5:30 pm) featuring music from the 1950’s with Little Anthony & The Imperials, the 1960’s with Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone, and the 1970’s with The Spinners and The Mahoney Brothers performing as Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison and Jerry Lee Lewis. Tickets go on sale at the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce (3306 Pacific Avenue) on June 14. Additional ticket sales will be at the Wildwoods Convention Center Box Office, through or any other Ticketmaster locations.

Lighthouse Challenge of New Jersey

The Lighthouse Challenge of New Jersey is a two-day event held every year on the third weekend in October to encourage participants to visit participating lighthouses, life-saving stations and museums throughout the state. Commemorative T-shirts and mementos are offered for purchase to participants each year. Each participating site determines its hours and participation level. Each site Is free to charge an entry fee.

Sea Isle City Beach Cleanup
Saturday, October 23, 2021 – 10:00am to 12:00pm
JFK Boulevard & Promenade, Sea Isle City

Volunteers are needed to help the Sea Isle City Environmental Commission with its bi-annual beach cleanup. Volunteers will be provided with trash bags and gloves before they set out to scour the beaches for trash and debris.

East Lynne Theater presents “Poe by Candlelight”

Cape May Sherlock Holmes Weekend

Caught off guard by an unexpected visitor, Sherlock Holmes is thrust into his latest case, this time at a prestigious boarding school. Will he be able to uncover the reason why so many students are disappearing, or will the children prove to be too much of a distraction for our favorite consulting detective? Weekend schedule includes Coffee and Dessert Reception (Friday evening, 7:00 pm at the Inn at Cape May), Search for Clues Tour (a self-guided walking tour on Saturday 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm with meeting to discuss case at the Inn at 3:30) and a hearty lunch at Aleathea’s at the Inn on Sunday morning at 11:30 am to unlock the mystery of the case where winners will be announced and prizes awarded.
