Join fellow sleuths over a weekend of mystery with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s master sleuth, Sherlock Holmes, and his loyal friend Dr. John Watson, in an original mystery, “Sherlock Holmes and Send in the Clowns!,” written by Jacklyn Fazio. The play begins Friday evening and ends on Sunday with the mystery revealed! Stalk the streets of Cape May in your own search of clues to help fill in the missing pieces while competing for the grand prize: a weekend for two to next year’s performance. Tickets include all performances. Full weekend packages including accommodations are available.
Sea Isle City Halloween Parade and Dance Party

The parade will feature live music, strolling entertainers, floats, local organizations and many well-costumed participants. The route is 44th and Landis to 39th and Landis. The Halloween Awards Ceremony and Family Dance Party will take place at the Excursion Park Band Shell immediately after the parade. The dance party will keep your “spirits” high and delight families with seasonal music and popular dance favorites.

Humane Society of Ocean City “Howl-O-Ween” Parade

Sports and Civic Center, Ocean City
Contestants are encouraged to dress themselves and their pooch in zany, fun Halloween costumes in the spirit of the season. Registration begins at 2:00 pm at the Sports & Civic Center. The parade begins at 3:00 pm and the procession is from 6th to 14th Street on the Boardwalk. Hosted by the Humane Society of Ocean City.
Ocean City Dog Day

Ocean City Boardwalk
Leashed dogs will be permitted on the boardwalk from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. All are welcome and encouraged to bring their favorite furry canine friend. Activities for the day include dog-specific vendors at the Music Pier, photo-op stations on the boardwalk, and the Humane Society of Ocean City’s “Pet of the Year” Announcement.
Cape May City Halloween Party

Cape May’s Annual Halloween Parade begins at Perry Street and Carpenters Lane, proceeds down Carpenters Lane to Ocean Street, travels down Washington Street and ends at the Emlen Physick Estate located at 1048 Washington Street. Parade registration is free and begins at 1:30 pm on the corner of Perry Street and the Washington Street Mall. Prizes will be awarded to all divisions at the conclusion of the parade at the Emlen Physick Estate. The public is encouraged to participate by registering their children in costumes for judging or entering their own creations including antique autos or decorated golf carts.
