Located on the cape of New Jersey in Cape May County, the Southern Jersey Shore consists of 30 miles of coastline. It’s a little more than an hour’s drive from Philadelphia, making it a popular destination for folks from the city, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and beyond, who wish to spend a little time “down the shore”.
In summer, average temps range from the 80s – 90s and it’s when most people visit, but the shoulder seasons of spring and fall are equally beautiful. Many towns have seasonal events planned including holiday celebrations.
