Pose For Peace Yoga

Pose for Peace is a beautiful beach yoga experience where the class forms the shape of a Peace Sign to practice. Move with the breath, meditate and unite in sending a wave of peace out to the world. New Year’s in North Wildwood

The top Mummers String Bands from the New Year’s Day Parade in Philadelphia will parade along Olde New Jersey Avenue, where you can get up-close views of the beautiful costumes and intricate dance steps. String Bands will be performing Friday & Saturday in the North Wildwood Entertainment District. Parade takes place on Saturday. Admission is FREE, so come join in the fun and learn the famous Mummers Strut!

Stairway to the Stars Lighthouse Climb

Climb the 199 steps to the top of the Cape May Lighthouse on evenings of the New Moon, when the moon is so dark it blends in with the night sky and is invisible to the naked eye. Stars and constellations are more visible on clear nights during the New Moon.

Join us for Oktoberfest 2023! Enjoy that ancient German tradition of merriment, roller coasters, tilt-a-whirls, beer, pretzels, and bratwurst! Mariner’s Pier will be open for Oktoberfest from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm on Fridays, from noon to 11:00 pm on Saturdays, and from noon to 5:00 pm on Sundays. Oktoberfest takes place on weekends from September 15, 2023 until October 8, 2023. Founders Restaurant will feature a special themed selection of Bavarian pretzels, bratwurst, German potato salad, schnitzel, and more. On tap, guests will find a wide selection of beers and tasting flights to be enjoyed at an outdoor “biergarten” located behind Founders with live entertainment playing every night on the Coca-Cola stage in front of the Ferris Wheel. Raise a glass and tap a toe as bands play throughout the night. Musical performances are scheduled for Fridays from 6:30 pm-10:30 pm; Saturdays from 1:00 pm 5:00 pm; then again from 6:30 pm-10:30 pm; and Sundays from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm.

History-buffs and auto-enthusiasts will flock to display and admire scores of vintage vehicles while enjoying live music by The Snake Brothers Band. At 1:00 pm, trophies will be presented to the winners of the Antique Auto Show. Then, each of the vehicles entered in the auto show will parade through town, bringing this year’s Skimmer Festival to a spectacular close. Live music and a parade will follow at 1:30 pm
Ocean City Airport Festival

Features include a ground display of unusual airplanes ranging from World War II Planes to Classics and Warbirds. The event will feature a parachute jump from Team Fastrax. Parachute Pyrotechnic Show consists of several highly trained and specially licensed Team Fastrax™ demonstrators exiting the aircraft 6,000 feet above Ocean City’s Beach & Boardwalk. Brilliant white or multi-colored projectile pyrotechnics are then ignited and flown in formation, creating a dazzling display for spectators on the ground. There will be an 8:00 pm jump with a landing on the 7th Street Beach. Viewable along the entire Boardwalk.

Annual Irish Fall Festival

Olde New Jersey Avenue and surrounding pubs, North Wildwood. The largest Irish Festival on the East Coast celebrating Irish heritage with dancing, music, food and craft vendors from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Other festivities include a golf tournament, Irish dance lessons, 5K run and 1 mile walk, pipe exhibition, food court, and Catholic Mass. The event concludes with a parade on Surf Avenue from 20th to Spruce and Olde New Jersey Avenues on Sunday.

Full Moon Lighthouse Climb

Follow the light of the full moon on this nighttime climb up the 199 step staircase steps to the top of the Cape May Lighthouse. Enjoy a nighttime view nearly 156 feet above the Delaware Bay and Atlantic Ocean. This event is repeated for every full moon throughout spring, summer and fall (upcoming date is October 28)
