This summer festival features hard shell crabs, craft beers, food trucks and vendors, crafters, family entertainment and back-to-back music on the outdoor stage.  Admission is free. Bring a blanket or chair and relax in the shade near the outdoor stage. Well-behaved pets welcome!

East Lynne Theater Company presents “Who Am I This Time? (Other Conundrums Of Love)”
Wednesday July 27 – Saturday September 3, 2022
Every Wednesday through Saturday at 8:00 PM at The Cape May Presbyterian Church

This comedy consists of three tales, the first of which is called “Long Walk to Forever” about a soldier who goes AWOL so he can hitchhike home to talk his childhood sweetheart out of marrying the wrong man.  In the next tale, “Who Am I This Time?”, a new woman in town falls in love with the man she’s performing with in the community theater production of “A Streetcar Named Desire.”  The last of the trio, “Go Back to Your Precious Wife and Son,” centers on a successful writer who realizes that being married to a film star can be difficult.

Santa’s Fish Fry and Beer Garden

Hands-on History at Historic Cold Spring Village

Two days of family-friendly, interactive and educational fun are planned for Historic Cold Spring Village’s “Hands-on History”. Children will be given a “Pastport” at the start of their Village trip, which can be stamped at the buildings they visit after completing a take-home craft or activity, like writing with a quill pen, carding wool, or churning butter. Pastports can be redeemed at the Country Store for a free treat!

Saturday’s lineup features Kiss the Sky (Jimi Hendrix), Reverend Jefferson (Jefferson Airplane), Tuesday’s Gone (Lynyrd Skynyrd) and Dead Reckoning (Grateful Dead). The Borough of West Cape May is hosting the Tomato Festival at the Borough’s Backyard Park.  We will celebrate all things tomato at our themed festival! Exit Zero Jazz Festival

The 2022 Spring Exit Zero Jazz Festival is a 3-day musical feast featuring hundreds of musicians and thousands of visitors. Presented by the Worldwide Logistics Group, Exit Zero Jazz presents international touring artists performing on 2 outdoor stages on the beautiful grounds of Exit Zero Ferry Park overlooking the Delaware Bay. Each night, the musical feast continues with Fest shows in the bars and restaurants of Cape May. You might find yourself one minute second-lining to a New Orleans brass band, and, in the next, snaking through town behind a 22-piece Brazilian drum bloco. The joy of the Exit Zero Jazz Festival is in the discovery of incredible music and musicians you may never have known existed.

The play begins Friday evening and ends on Sunday with the mystery revealed! Stalk the streets of Cape May in your own search of clues to help fill in the missing pieces while competing for the grand prize: a weekend for two to next year’s performance. Cape May City Halloween Party

Cape May’s Annual Halloween Parade begins at Perry Street and Carpenters Lane, proceeds down Carpenters Lane to Ocean Street, travels down Washington Street and ends at the Emlen Physick Estate located at 1048 Washington Street. Parade registration is free and begins at 1:30 pm on the corner of Perry Street and the Washington Street Mall. Prizes will be awarded to all divisions at the conclusion of the parade at the Emlen Physick Estate. The public is encouraged to participate by registering their children in costumes for judging or entering their own creations including antique autos or decorated golf carts.

Cape May’s 49th Annual Christmas Candlelight House Tours
Saturday December 3, December 10, and December 17, 2022 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Cape May MAC launched this tour in 1973 and ever since it has been a highlight of the Christmas season in Cape May, America’s only National Historic Landmark City. On three nights in December travel to homes, inns, B&Bs, churches and hotels, stepping across the thresholds to take in interiors beautifully decorated for the holidays. This self-guided tour is one of Cape May MAC’s largest fund-raisers. Maps are provided. Wristbands for ticket purchasers are provided in advance or at central locations at the start of the tour and must be presented at each participating location for entry. Tour is limited. Trolley shuttle travels on planned route with limited stops. Walking is encouraged. Advance purchase is highly recommended. Masks are required in private properties and while on trolley shuttles. Proceeds benefit Cape May MAC, a not-for-profit organization committed to promoting the preservation, interpretation and cultural enrichment of the Cape May region for its residents and visitors since 1970. These tours occur each Saturday in December between December 3 – December 17, 2022.

West Cape May Community Christmas Parade

The West Cape May Community Christmas Parade is funded solely by donations and sets the stage for the area’s holiday season.  Always held on the first Saturday in December, now in its 55th year, the parade marches through town beginning at the West Cape May Volunteer Firehouse heading South on Broadway, turning East on Perry, and finishing its route through to the end of Carpenter Lane in the City of Cape May.  Each year a small group of volunteers assemble creating an unforgettable hometown memory, made possible by the donations received throughout the year by the Community and its guests.
