Frozen Mudslide

Welcome to “Thank God It’s Friday – Cocktails by the Sea” series. Every Friday, we will be featuring a different cocktail recipe to help you unwind and enjoy your weekend down the shore (or wherever you are).

Friday, June 7 is National Chocolate Ice Cream Day, so what better way to celebrate than with a chocolate ice cream-based cocktail by the sea? Here’s a great recipe for Frozen Mudslides. Enjoy!

1 oz Kahlua
1 oz Bailey’s Irish cream
1 oz Vodka
5 big scoops of chocolate ice cream
Chocolate syrup
Chocolate jimmies
Mini chocolate chips
Whipped Cream

Instructions
Begin by preparing your glasses by pouring chocolate syrup in a small shallow bowl and placing chocolate sprinkles in a small shallow plate. Dip rims of glasses in chocolate syrup, then dip in sprinkles. Swirl chocolate syrup around the inside of the glasses and place in freezer for approximately 1/2 hour before serving. To make cocktail, put Kahlua, Bailey’s, Vodka and chocolate ice cream in a blender. Cover and blend well.
