This festival celebrates 35 years of bringing beautiful music to Cape May, NJ. Whether its classical, jazz, or other type, music lovers of all kinds are certain to find something they love during this month-long festival. Headlining events include: the New York Chamber Ensemble, the New Jersey Symphony Chamber Players, the Bay Atlantic Symphony, New York-based BAILEN showcasing trio vocals and guitar, award-winning Atlantic Brass Band, a Jazz Brunch at the Inn of Cape May featuring Mary Lou Newnam and Ray Mallach, Atlanta-based cellist-songwriter, looper, improviser and storyteller, Okorie “OkCello” Johnson, a George Mesterhazy Tribute Concert, the Cape May Cabaret with Erich Cawalla & the Uptown Band Orchestra, and more. Cape May Lighthouse
Stargaze from atop the Cape May Lighthouse! Climb the 199 steps to the watchtower on evenings of the new moon, when the moon is so dark it blends in with the night. On clear weather nights, stars are more visible so bring your binoculars. Daytime climbs are also offered year-round.

Sea Isle’s Skimmer Festival Weekend

This fun annual event is hosted by the Sea Isle City Division of Tourism. Enjoy a Seaside Vendor Craft Market along the oceanfront Promenade and a Food Court from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Kids games and activities will be available from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, including FREE amusement rides, face painting, photo booth, art bar and sand art. The Brass Pocket Band will also be performing.

Gardens of Cape May Self Guided Tour

Explore Cape May’s unique natural areas and the private landscape designs, plants and blooms of area gardeners. See both private and public gardens and take home ideas for your own garden on this self-guided tour. Smell and see what’s blooming and flourishing in several different seashore locations dominated by sunlight, ocean breezes, and sand and salt, each uniquely situated. Cape May’s Emlen Physick Estate will host local and regional vendors, including the Native Plant Society of New Jersey, plus a complimentary wine tasting by Cape May Winery. A trolley shuttle will be available 12:00 noon – 4:00 pm. Rain date is Saturday June 16, 2024.

Hop on a Cape May MAC trolley for visits to Cape May Brewing Co., Behr Brewing, and Gusto Brewing Co., for tasting flights of local beers. Lunch is included at Cape Square Kitchen & Craft. This tour is for adults ages 21 and over. Cost is $125.00 per person.

Barefoot Country Music Fest

The Barefoot Country Music Fest is the Northeast’s largest outdoor country music fest. This 4-day event will host country music’s biggest stars and up-and-comers on 5 unique stages on the beach at Lincoln Avenue in Wildwood between the famous Morey’s Piers. Main stage acts include Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Kane Brown, and many, many more to be announced. Each night fireworks will light up the sky at the conclusion of the show.

Follow the light of the full moon on these rare nighttime climbs up the 199 cast-iron spiral staircase steps to the top of the Cape May Lighthouse. Enjoy this nighttime view nearly 156 feet above the Delaware Bay and Atlantic Ocean. Daytime climbs are also offered year-round.

Sara the Turtle Festival will feature a hands-on Wildlife Display with live animals, as well as Environmental Exhibits by the Wetlands Institutes, the Marine Mammal Stranding Cerner, Sea Isle City’s Environmental Commission, the Beachcomber Guides, and Sea Isle Terrapin Rescue. There will also be a “Diaper Derby” Baby Crawling Contest, face painters, a Bounce House and strolling entertainers. At 8:00 pm, “The Turtlesingers” will delight children with an entertaining and educational musical presentation that will include live turtles. Rain date: Tuesday, June 25
