Full Moon Lighthouse Climb

Cape May Lighthouse, 215 Lighthouse Avenue
Follow the light of the full moon on this nighttime climb up the 199 step staircase steps to the top of the Cape May Lighthouse. Enjoy a nighttime view nearly 156 feet above the Delaware Bay and Atlantic Ocean. This event is repeated for every full moon throughout spring, summer and fall (upcoming dates are July 2, August 1, August 30, September 29 and October 28)
Cape May Restaurant Week 2023

Three courses, one price! Cape May Restaurant Week is back this June with fixed-price dining at Cape May’s best restaurants. Menu pricing begins at $38 per person. The list of participating restaurants and menus will be available closer to the event in June. Reservations strongly recommended where available.

Peytons Promise 5k Run/2k Walk

Dedicated to Peyton Elizabeth Laricks and her courageous fight against CDH. Race Start 5k Run @ 10:00AM / 2k walk will start right after the run start. This year’s family friendly after party will be held at Paddy’s Green, 39th & Landis, Sea Isle City. The party will include a complimentary buffet for all runners/walkers and the release of VonC Brewing Co’s special Peyton’s Promise pilsner. All sale proceeds from the Peyton’s Promise pilsner will be donated to the foundation.

The Philadelphia String Band Association will be hosting their 3rd Annual String Band Luau Palooza. The event will run for six hours to raise money to help the Philadelphia String Band Association Bands. The Luau will feature performances by thirteen String Bands. There will also be appearances by local celebrities & personalities. Tickets cost $20 and include food and drink specials.

Hosted by Sea Isle City’s Division of Tourism, this annual event includes lots of fun for the family. There will be a Seaside Vendor Craft Market along the oceanfront Promenade, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm, a Food Court, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Free amusement rides, face painting, photo booth, and arts and crafts will be available between 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. Live music and refreshments available too.

Stairway to the Stars Lighthouse Climb

Climb the 199 steps to the top of the Cape May Lighthouse on evenings of the New Moon, when the moon is so dark it blends in with the night sky and is invisible to the naked eye. Stars and constellations are more visible on clear nights during the New Moon.

Sara the Turtle Festival

The Sara the Turtle Festival will feature a hands-on Wildlife Display (with live animals), as well as Environmental Exhibits by the Wetlands Institutes, the Marine Mammal Stranding Cerner, Sea Isle City’s Environmental Commission, the Beachcomber Guides, and Sea Isle Terrapin Rescue. There will also be a “Diaper Derby” Baby Crawling Contest, face painters, a Bounce House and strolling entertainers. At 8:00 pm, “The Turtlesingers” will delight children with an entertaining and educational musical presentation that will include live turtles.
