It’s Thirsty Thursday, and time for Cocktails by the Sea! Each week, we feature a different cocktail recipe that you can make for yourself, to help you unwind and enjoy your weekend down the shore (or wherever you are).
Friday, June 14 is National Strawberry Shortcake Day. We were lucky to find a bottle of Bailey’s Strawberries and Cream Liqueur just in time to celebrate, so we whipped up a delicious Strawberry Shortcake Martini. For best results, enjoy with a shortbread cookie or, if you’re really feeling ambitious, some homemade shortcake. Enjoy!
Strawberry Shortcake Martini
Ingredients
3 oz Bailey’s Strawberries and Cream Liqueur
1 oz vanilla vodka
Strawberry for garnish
Instructions
Fill shaker halfway with ice and pour in vodka and liqueur. Shake well and strain into a fancy glass. Add a strawberry for garnish. This cocktail pairs well with shortbread cookies to give you that shortcake flavor.
