This event, held various weekends throughout the summer, showcases an array of talented artisans and crafters, offering everything from handcrafted jewelry and home décor to unique artwork and beach-inspired treasures. Rain or shine. Other dates: August 8/9, September 5/6.
Yacht Club of Stone Harbor Festival of Lights

The Yacht Club of Stone Harbor will host its annual Festival of Lights Boat Parade on Saturday, August 1, 2026. The theme is US History 250. The illuminated parade will cruise through the Great Channel and back-bay basins starting at 8:00 pm, with a viewing party and food truck festival on the shoreline beginning at 7:00 pm.
Book Signing – ‘Flag Me Down: The Story of the Wildwood’s Tramcar’
Saturday August 1, 12:00 noon – 3:00 pm
George F. Boyer Museum – 3709 Pacific Ave, Wildwood
Michael Jasorka and his Bombshell Comics will be hosting this one-day signing event with the Wildwood Historical Society. Special guests include long-time tenured tramcar driver John “Gigi” Gigliotti and the voice of the tramcar warning herself, Florence Stingel. The graphic novel is in full color, 60 pages in length, and can be purchased for $30. Partial proceeds benefit the Wildwood Historical Society, George F. Boyer Museum.

National Night Out – Avalon
Tuesday August 4, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Avalon Community Hall, 30th Street and Avalon Avenue
The free community event, hosted by the Avalon Police Department in collaboration with the Avalon Department of Recreation, features emergency vehicles and equipment displays from the police, fire departments, beach patrol, and public works. The event also includes free mechanical rides, inflatables, games, children’s activities, hot dogs and water. A free beachfront movie screening at dusk will follow.
National Night Out – Stone Harbor

Water Tower Plaza, 95th Street and 2nd Avenue
Hosted by the Stone Harbor Police Department, this free community event aims to strengthen police-community relations. The evening will feature family-friendly activities, interactive law enforcement and emergency vehicle displays, a bounce house, free treats, and various giveaways

Carey Stadium (behind Ocean City High School)
This free, family-friendly event features bounce houses, a helicopter landing, K-9 and drone demonstrations, food, and family activities. The annual evening is hosted by the Ocean City Police Department to strengthen the partnership between the community and local first responders while fostering neighborhood camaraderie.
National Night Out – Sea Isle

Excursion Park, Sea Isle
This annual community-building event is hosted by the Sea Isle City Police Department to foster positive relationships between residents and local law enforcement. Meet and greet with personnel from the Sea Isle City Police Department, Fire Department, Beach Patrol, and Division of Emergency Medical Services. Representatives from Cape May County law enforcement agencies will also participate. The event also includes free face painters, a balloon artist, inflatable bounce houses, games, a photo booth, free snacks and various giveaways.
National Night Out – Wildwood

This annual event offers an ideal opportunity to build neighborhood unity and strengthen police-community partnerships in a continuing effort to build a better City and safer America. The event includes games, food, prizes, dunk tank and much more. Sponsored by the Wildwood Police Department.

This annual event will feature displays by various City departments representing police, fire, public works, beach patrol and recreation. Sponsored by the City of North Wildwood Police Department.
National Night Out – Wildwood Crest

Centennial Park, Wildwood Crest
The Borough of Wildwood Crest Police Department will host a fun-filled evening of free activities for the entire family as part of the National Night Out campaign. The event will include DJ entertainment, food, games, prizes, giveaways and more for the entire family. A drone demo will be included in the fun. Representatives from the Wildwood Crest Police Department, Fire Department, Ambulance Corps, Beach Patrol and Recreation Department, as well as a handful of Cape May County agencies, will all partake in the event. Emergency vehicles from a variety of departments from both Wildwood Crest and Cape May County will line the Centennial Park area.
National Lighthouse Day

Celebrate National Lighthouse Day, marking the 237th anniversary of the signing of the 1789 Lighthouse Act. The New Jersey Lighthouse Society will provide games and surprises for all children with a ceremony at 10:00 am. Admission is free and donations will be accepted.
Ocean City’s 63rd Annual Boardwalk Art Show

The Wildwood Tattoo Beach Bash brings together world-class tattoo artists, enthusiasts, and curious onlookers for a weekend filled with live tattooing, contests, and jaw-dropping body art. Tattoo artists from across the country will create stunning designs right before spectators’ eyes, and vendors will offer unique apparel, body jewelry, and tattoo-related merchandise. This event also includes live entertainment, side-show acts, and competitions. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.

The Wildwoods PigDog Regatta & Beach Party is when 3,000 rubber ducks will be released into the lazy river, where the winning ducks and corresponding ticket holders will win prizes. There will be a beach festival to follow at PigDog Restaurant, featuring beach fire pits, live music, and Friday Night Fireworks. Purchase your duck through the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce.
