Eat, Drink and be Merry at Shore Food Fests

Hungry for something different? If you enjoy trying new foods in a festive environment, head on down the shore and enjoy these upcoming food festivals. Most events will include live music, entertainment and a wide variety of culinary tastings where local chefs and restaurants feature their tasty delicacies.
Cape May Food and Wine Celebration – September 15-24, 2017
Indulge in good food, fine wine, and all types of culinary delights and events during the 21st Cape May Food & Wine Celebration, presented by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC). A variety of different events featuring specific cuisines will be held at varying locations. Sample the best of the best and find out why the New York Times has dubbed Cape May “the restaurant capital of New Jersey.” Sorry, most festival events cannot accommodate children.
The 6th annual Stone Harbor Savor September Food, Wine and Beer Festival – Saturday, September 23 12:00pm-8:00pm
This event will be held at the 96th Street Shopping District and will showcase the best food, wine, microbrews, art, music and culture the area has to offer. Oyster and clam shucking, carnival games, zoo animals and art activities for kids, a grape stomping competition and a café with fire pits for the evening live entertainment.
Wildwoods Restaurant Week – October 8-13, 2017
Wine and dine in some of Wildwoods finest restaurants. All participating restaurants will offer a complete four course meal, including appetizer, salad, entree and dessert for $30 (plus tax and gratuity.)
West Cape May Lima Bean Festival – October 7, 2017 9:00 am– 5:00 pm
The lowly legume takes center stage and delights locals and visitors alike with her vast array of recipes, crafts, and products available. In the case of rain, the event will be hled on October 9, 2017.
Wildwood Fall Food Truck Festival – October 21, 2017 11:00 am – 6:00 pm
The Wildwood Food Truck Festival will be held at Wildwood’s Fox Park. The festival will feature 20 food trucks of all different cuisines, with no duplicate cuisines to keep the festival unique. This year, a newly added kid’s area will be present, featuring a bounce house, face painting, a balloon twister, and multiple games. Also, come check out the new vendor row, featuring retailers and crafters all day long. Entry to the festival is free.
