Sara the Turtle Festival
Monday June 24, 20246:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Sara the Turtle Festival will feature a hands-on Wildlife Display with live animals, as well as Environmental Exhibits by the Wetlands Institutes, the Marine Mammal Stranding Cerner, Sea Isle City’s Environmental Commission, the Beachcomber Guides, and Sea Isle Terrapin Rescue. There will also be a “Diaper Derby” Baby Crawling Contest, face painters, a Bounce House and strolling entertainers. At 8:00 pm, “The Turtlesingers” will delight children with an entertaining and educational musical presentation that will include live turtles. Rain date: Tuesday, June 25

Fireworks are launched offshore and can be seen along the promenade and beaches.
Bike Decorating Contest & Family Dance Party
Friday July 5, 2024 10:00 am – 12:00 noon
Excursion Park, Sea Isle City
Decorate your bikes and bring them to be judged! Not only bikes, but scooters and strollers are also welcome to participate (non-motorized only). Onsite registration begins at 9:45. Prizes given, and DJ will be on hand spinning tunes.

Captain Bill Gallagher 10 Mile Island Run
Saturday August 10, 2024 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Beach Patrol Headquarters, 10 44th Street, Sea Isle
This run features a flat course starting at the Sea Isle City Beach Patrol Headquarters and proceeds north on the boardwalk to the 29th Street ramp, onto the beach to the Strathmere turn around, return over the same route running south to the 57th Street ramp, onto the beach to the Townsend’s Inlet turn around, return along the beach to the finish in front of the Beach Patrol Headquarters.

Participants will gather in the shape of a peace sign and share a beach yoga class in this annual fundraising event.

Fall Family Festival Antique Auto Show & Parade

On the Promenade North of JFK Boulevard, Sea Isle City
Stroll along and admire vintage and classic cars as you listen to music by Snake Brothers Band from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon. Auto Show Awards will be held at 1:00 pm, followed by the Antique Auto Parade at 1:30 PM (the parade runs along Pleasure Avenue from 44th Street to 93rd Street, then is runs north on Landis from 93rd to JFK – and ends at JFK)
