Visit Seaside Farmers Markets at the Shore

Summer is now in full swing, which means it’s time to visit seaside farmers market at the shore. Grab some freshly squeezed lemonade and stroll through the grounds to check out the offerings of local farmers and artisans. Farmers Markets at the shore are held once weekly in five different towns from Ocean City to Cape May. These open-air markets feature the best of what the Jersey shore has to offer – locally grown produce, gourmet foods and hand-crafted items. Whether you are looking for fresh pastries and breads, a variety of Jersey produce, specialty foods like dip mixes and marinades or handmade accessories and art work, you are certain to find what you’re looking for. There is often live entertainment as well at these lively farmers markets at the shore!
Shopping at these seaside markets is not only fun for the entire family but, in so doing, you’re supporting local farmers, artisans and small businesses in the process. Check out the schedule, and make sure you stop by when you’re down the shore!

West Cape May Farmers Market (June 29 – August 31)
Every Tuesday, 3:00 pm – 7:30 pm
West Cape May Municipal Complex at the Backyard Park
The Market features not only fresh produce and herbs, but, among others, purveyors of antiques; live art demonstrations; fresh coffee; barbecue, seafood and kettle corn and other food vendors. Great way to mingle with community members, grab a lite dinner, listen to live music and enjoy the cool evening breezes. The market is open rain or shine.

Downtown Wildwood Farmers Market (June 5 – September 4)
Every Saturday 8:00 am – 12:30 pm
Byrne Plaza, Oak and Pacific Avenues, Wildwood
This market features farm fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, plants, homemade baked goods, honey, wine, guacamole, herbs, nuts, organic tea, jams, jellies, jewelry, soaps, handmade non-food items and more. Radio station 98.7 The Coast will broadcast from the market every week. Free parking is available.
