Barefoot Country Music Fest
Thursday June 20 – Sunday June 23, 2024 Various times
Beach at Lincoln Avenue, Wildwood
The Barefoot Country Music Fest is the Northeast’s largest outdoor country music fest. This 4-day event will host country music’s biggest stars and up-and-comers on 5 unique stages on the beach at Lincoln Avenue in Wildwood between the famous Morey’s Piers. Main stage acts include Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Kane Brown, and many, many more to be announced. Each night fireworks will light up the sky at the conclusion of the show.

Independence Day Family Parade
Thursday July 4, 2024 8:15 am registration; parade begins at 9:00
9th and Atlantic Avenues, North Wildwood
Parade proceeds north to 1st and Surf Avenues. No rain date. Prizes awarded for the best decorated bikes wagons, strollers, scooters and low speed vehicles in red, white and blue theme.
Patriotic Pooch Parade
Thursday July 4, 2024 8:15 am registration, parade begins at 9:00
Bill Henfey Park, North Wildwood
Pooch Parade joins regular parade at 8th & Atlantic Avenues and proceeds north to 1st & Surf Avenues. No rain date. Prizes awarded for the best decorated bikes, strollers, scooters, golf carts etc. in red, white and blue theme. Pooches can be registered the day of the parade. All ages are welcome to participate in the parade.
Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular on the Boardwalk

Grab your buckets and shovels and get ready to create works of art in the sand during the 12th annual event. This amateur and semi-pro sand sculpting contest is hosted by professional world-renowned sand sculptor Matt Long, a former cast member of the Travel Channel’s SandMasters, and “Can You Dig It!” Sand Tools.

Wildwood Boardwalk
The Wildwoods Baby Parade is a tradition since 1909. Registration at Wildwoods Convention Center from 4:30 PM to 5:15 PM. Judging occurs while participants are lined up. Line-up begins at 5:30 PM. Parade steps off at 6 PM at the Wildwoods Convention Center and proceeds 10 blocks north on boardwalk to Cedar Avenue where we will turn left and announce the winners and present awards at the boardwalk extension across from Morey’s Piers Mariners Landing.

Enjoy the yearly event that offers an ideal opportunity to build neighborhood unity and strengthen police-community partnerships in a continuing effort to build a better City and safer America. City departments will set up displays around the block, representing police, fire, public works, beach patrol and recreation. Enjoy a FREE barbeque, games, various activities for children, hourly giveaways, and more. A movie will begin at dusk. Sponsored by the City of North Wildwood Police Department.

Join the Wildwood Police Department, Wildwood Fire Department and Wildwood Beach Patrol, for their annual National Night Out event. Free hotdogs, snacks and beverages will be available and events will include K-9 demonstrations, simulated drunk driving course, fire hose activities, pony rides, dunk tank, inflatable slide, bounce house, and much more. The Borough of Wildwood Crest Police Department will be hosting a fun evening including free activities, including a DJ, food, games, prizes and giveaways, moon bounce, face painting, dunk tank and more. Hosted by the Wildwood Crest Police Department, Fire Department, Ambulance Corps, Beach Patrol and Recreation Department, and several Cape May County agencies. Emergency vehicles from Wildwood Crest and Cape May County will line the Centennial Park area.

Muddy Schnitzel Family Fun Run

Wildwood Beach between Mariner’s and Adventure Piers
Lace up your sneaks and prepare to get muddy in Morey’s Piers first annual Muddy Schnitzel, a family mud run on the beach between Mariner’s and Adventure Piers. The course is about 1 mile long and features over a dozen obstacles, including water pits, an army crawl, king of the dune, and tube scramble. Families will have a blast navigating the course together and racing to the finish, where every participant will be awarded a finisher medal! Muddy Schnitzel is appropriate for kids five and older. An adult must accompany children under 14 on the course.

Annual Irish Fall Festival

The largest Irish Festival on the East Coast celebrating Irish heritage with dancing, music, food and craft vendors. Monsters on the Beach presented by Renegade Monster Truck Tour comes to Wildwood! The Monster on Main Street Event begins with 8 Renegade Monster Trucks on display in Wildwood Crest Friday afternoon 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm before they parade through Wildwood Crest to the Beach where they will prepare for Saturday’s event. Saturday September 28 will start the battle for points as these 8 Renegade Monster Trucks will compete for bragging rights and title of King of the Beach by tackling an aggressive track of obstacles including crush cars, huge jumps and even a Backflip Ramp! Monsters on the Beach will also include the Mini Monster Truck Series.

North Wildwood Trunk-or-Treat Halloween Block

Music, Magic, Balloon Twisting and more can be found at this fun event. Families are encouraged to bring their vehicles decorated for Halloween. Children will come in costume and visit each car where families will provide treats from the trunks of their cars. There will be no judging of the children’s costumes, but prizes will be awarded to the best decorated vehicles. Registration is free and forms are available at 900 Central Avenue in North Wildwood or at City Hall. All vehicles participating in the event must be registered. Parking for visitors will be available in the municipal lot at 2nd and Olde New Jersey Avenues.
